K-9 Outfitters are makers of fine handcrafted items for your pet dog and cat. We use only quality materials in making our products, which are extensively tested on our own and friends' pets; we also provide sizing and product information to help outfit your favorite furry friends.
K-9 Outfitters is a Canadian home based business which has been operating since 1997....
I originally started out by designing, manufacturing and marketing children's clothing after the birth of my son Devin in 1991, so I could stay at home and raise him myself. Son Devin was joined in 1994 by daughter Samantha, and once the kids were a little older, I could finally get back to training my German Shepherds in my favorite sport, Schutzhund. Once seriously back to training dogs, I concluded that manufacturing pet products would be more enjoyable and satisfying than children's clothing, therefore, deciding to switch product lines in 1996, a full compliment of pet products was ready for the 1997 season.
We are currently enjoying the company of our two Pulis, Ch. Immerzu Kavalier CGN, a.k.a. Kormos, the house "pest", who was joined by Can/Am Ch. Immerzu Flash Harry around Mothers' Day, 2003. I had fallen in love with Harry when I met him as a two year old in 2001, so when he became available, I couldn't resist; with my husband's encouragement, he became a member of our family. I've handled Kormos through to his championship and for his CGN, and I'm now working both Pulis in obedience and agility. They accompany me everywhere I go, including the Farmers' Markets throughout the summer as my models and to provide companionship... and possibly a little sympathy when it's pouring rain!
